November Monthly Meeting Minutes

Communications:

Lakes Pond Baptist church sent a donation and a thank you card for all of our continued hard work.

Chiefs Report:

W57 passed unanimously @ BOS meeting. Next meeting is Dec 1^st @ 9 a.m. and Chief does not foresee any problems. Plan to sign contract prior to x-mas, hopefully see new W57 by May-June 2010.

800 Megahertz radio system is being worked on to be put into service. Cohanzie will be receiving 12 portable radios (one for each truck, top four officers) 4 officer mobile radios. Chief to get with other Fire Dept’s to see how many portables are needed for active fire fighters. 33.94 will also be simultaneously dispatched along with 800 megahurtz radio. 33.94 will need to be kept in service on trucks due to knox box.

Volunteer incentive program should be discussed in BOF December meeting.

If members would like purchases for next budget please submit it to appropriate Officer.

Deputy Chiefs Report:

Blue light permits located in alarm room, if members would like a permit for 2010 please fill out and place in Dep. Chiefs mailbox.

Pump operator class @ Jordan F.D. 11/19-11/20

EMS Lieutenant Report:

Restock equipment after each call

Alarm room office chairs to be ordered

Engineers Report:

Discontinue use @ Arrow for power tool equipment. All power equipment will be sent to Bozrah hardware.

BOD’s Report:

Energy project still not complete they will be coming back for a walkthrough.
